The #Penguins have signed defensemanChris Summers to two-years, $6 million deal.
This is a significant increase over the prior two years.

His new deal will include a cap hit of $4 million, an increase from the $3.5-million cap hit he received from the team in 2019-20.
A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Summers spent last season in the NHL with the Anaheim Ducks, where he recorded nine points (3G-9A) in 52 games.
He made his NHL debut on March 10, 2017 and recorded his first NHL goal on March 14, 2018.
