Here are some tips for cooking a slow cooker meal.
Add a little extra water to the pot If your slow cooker is too full to cook any food in, add a few tablespoons of water.
Mix the water and watermelon rinds Add the rind mixture to the slow cooker, then stir in the cooked chicken.
Add the spices to the chicken Add a teaspoon of each of the following spices to your slow cookers chicken: cumin, coriander, cayenne, oregano, thyme, allspice, and nutmeg.
Make the sauce Bring the sauce to a boil.
Once boiling, add the chicken.
Simmer on low for an hour.
Taste and adjust the seasoning To make the sauce more sweet, add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper powder.
